The City Government of Kabankalan, led by Mayor Benjie Miranda and Vice Mayor Divina Gracia Miranda, welcome the Government Internship Program (GIP) interns as they begin their training with offices of the city government.
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Kabankalan, under the leadership of PESO Manager Elma B. Bachita, PhD, officially endorsed and sent off five interns to various offices of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kabankalan City today, August 18, 2025.
The interns have been assigned to the following departments:
City Human Resource Management Office
City Treasurerβs Office
City Civil Registrarβs Office
City Agriculture Office
City Assessorβs Office
According to Dr. Bachita, PESO manager,the GIP a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) aims to provide young graduates with meaningful work experience, enhance their skills, and prepare them for future employment while supporting government services.
