The City Government of Kabankalan City, led by Mayor Benjie M. Miranda and Vice Mayor Divina Gracia S. Miranda, held the Gugma Caravan on April 16, 2026, at Barangay Tapi.
On behalf of Mayor Benjie M. Miranda and Vice Mayor Divina Gracia S. Miranda, Joel Palata delivered a message to the people of Kabankalan, emphasizing that the city continues to support and bring services closer to the community.
Also present during the event were EA Genevieve Salas, EA Jose Novo Dagunan, and EA Sujie Miranda.
Residents benefited from a wide array of free services offered by various city offices, including:
β’ Medical consultations, free medicines, circumcision, and dental care from the City Health Office, in partnership with Kabankalan City Hospital, which also offered free Random Blood Sugar (RBS) tests.
β’ PSA birth registration assistance from the City Civil Registry Office.
β’ Distribution of seedlings and flyers from the City Agriculture Office.
β’ Livestock vitamins and medicines from the City Veterinary Office.
β’ Free massage services from the Kabankalan Training Center (TESDA).
β’ Distribution of vermicast compost from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).
β’ Services from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD).
β’ Emergency response and assistance provided by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO).
Barangay Tapi Health Workers (BHW) also extended their services to residents and community members.
