The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VI, Iloilo City in collaboration with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) conducted a five-day national training program on Camp Coordination, Camp Management (CCCM), and IDP Protection (IDPP) Training of Trainers (TOT). The training took place from August 12 to 16, 2024, at the Family Life Resource Center (FLRC) in Brgy. Binicuil.
The training of trainers on Camp Coordination conducted underscoring Kabankalan City’s proactive approach to disaster preparedness.
Mayor Benjie Miranda graced the opening ceremony and highlighted the critical importance of disaster preparedness and community protection.
A diverse group of 30 participants include representatives from the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), City Health Office (CHO), Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRM), Philippine National Police (PNP), General Services Office (GSO), Solid Waste Management Office, Engineering Office, Department of Education (DepEd), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
