Mayor Benjie Miranda inspired 980 scholars of the Kabankalan City Educational Assistance Program (KCEAP) during the distribution of educational assistance held today, April 14, 2026, at Evacom.

In his speech, Mayor Benjie Miranda reaffirmed the city government’s commitment to supporting students in their education. He also assured that they will not lose hope in pursuing their dreams, because they are not alone in the journey.

Each scholar received ₱6,000 in educational assistance to help with their educational needs, amounting to a total of ₱5,880,000.

The distribution was facilitated by the KCEAP Office and City Treasurer’s Office.141
