Mayor Benjie Miranda and city officials officially honored Johana Marie Oyog, Lin-ay sang Negros 2026 1st Runner-Up, during the flag-raising ceremony today, April 20, 2026.

Following the ceremony, Oyog paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Mayor and Vice Mayor Miranda, where she was commended for representing Kabankalan with excellence among 32 candidates.

Further she bagged the Best in Evening Gown award and won hearts with her advocacy, Uplifting Modern Agriculture (UMA) which focused on using innovation and youth involvement as a catalyst for change to bring honor and pride back to the local farmers of Kabankalan.

She also paid tribute to her mother who raised her together with her 3 siblings.
