Punong Barangay Rico Regalia delivered a high-impact State of the Barangay Address (SOBA) on March 28, 2026, highlighting key milestones and outlining a forward-looking roadmap during the Brgy. Camingawan Assembly.

In her message, LGOO VII Maria Fatima R. Daiz reminded barangay officials that “true service lies in listening to the people,” emphasizing that genuine engagement drives the community’s pursuit of unity, order, and progress. She delivered the statement on behalf of Teodora P. Sumagaysay, CESO V, OIC Assistant Regional Director of DILG NIR and Concurrent Provincial Director of DILG-Negros Occidental.

SK Chairman Requem Biasong presented key youth-focused initiatives, highlighting programs that promote leadership, participation, and community involvement.

An open forum followed, giving residents the opportunity to raise concerns and engage directly with barangay officials, reinforcing transparency, accountability, and participatory governance.

Also in attendance were CLGOO Mark Angelo Linas, CDRRMO Elbert Javellana, EA Jose Novo Dagunan representing the Office of Mayor Benjie Miranda, and EA Genevieve Guanzon Salas representing the Office of Vice Mayor Divina Gracia Miranda.
