The newly elected officers of the Kabankalan City Barangay Health Workers (BHW) Association, Inc. were formally inducted on March 30, 2026, at the Xaris Event Venue.

Vice Mayor Divina Miranda attended the ceremony and delivered a message recognizing the dedication and vital role of Barangay Health Workers in promoting health and providing essential services in their communities.

Dr. Elizabeth G. Junto, Head of the City Health Office (CHO), highlighted the importance of BHWs, stating, โ€œOur 455-strong BHW force is the bridge between the government and the people.โ€

SPM Doc Marie Vic Anacan-Ramos, Chairperson of the Committee on Health and Sanitation, also graced the event.
