Twenty-eight young mothers participated in the 2-day Personal Responsibility Education Program for Teenage Pregnancy (PREP-TEEN) held on April 20–21, 2026 at the Brgy. Tabugon Health Center.

Initiated by the City Government of Kabankalan under the leadership of Mayor Benjie M. Miranda and Vice Mayor Divina Gracia Miranda, the activity equipped participants with knowledge on maternal health, prenatal care, family planning, and HIV/AIDS awareness.

The program was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the City Health Office, City Social Welfare and Development Office, the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital Team, and the City Information Office.

Beneficiaries also received IEC materials and OB kits to support their maternal health journey.

The city extends its gratitude to the resource speakers, partner agencies, KABGEM Cooperative, and the officials of Brgy. Tabugon for their support in making the activity successful.
