The City Government of Kabankalan, under the leadership of Mayor Benjie Miranda and Vice Mayor Divina Gracia Miranda, through CSWDO, turned-over ₱1.1 million total financial assistance to 98 octogenarians on Saturday, April 6, 2026, at the City Hall Lobby.

In total, 69 senior citizens aged 80–84 and 29 naman aged 85–89 received ₱12,000 financial benefits each.

Mayor Benjie Miranda, Vice Mayor Divina Gracia Miranda, and SP Helen Ibañez gave them a message showing the city’s continued support for senior citizens.

CSWDO Chief Cyril Ramos stated the purpose of the program as part of the city’s continuing support to seniors.
