The Gugma Caravan brought a multitude of services to the people of Barangay Carol-an.
Mayor Benjie Miranda sponsored 100 eyeglasses from the Eyes Hear Foundation and initiated a cake-giving program for 40 senior citizens.
The City Health Office (CHO) provided free medical check-ups and medicines, along with 39 circumcisions and 60 tooth extractions.
The City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) assisted ERPAT (Empowerment and Reaffirmation of Paternal Abilities) members, solo parents, and senior citizens.
The agriculture department distributed 5,000 seedlings, and the CDRRMO delivered water for the community.
Philippine Army offered free haircuts and from Kabankalan Training Center TESDA, offered free massages.
Other participating city departments included PESO, the City Registrar, Agriculture, Assessorβs Office, CPDO, youth profiling, GSO, HR, the Treasurerβs Office, and Legal Office. These departments offered a range of services, ensuring comprehensive support for the residents.
Mayor Miranda expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the barangay council and commended the dedication of various service providers who continually work to improve the lives of Kabankalanons.
While Punong Barangay Jocerel Paculanang, thanked Mayor Miranda for his support and and bringing the Gugma Caravan to Brgy. Carol-an. βThis caravan will have a significant impact on our barangay, providing much-needed services. I hope this initiative continues to serve our community,β Paculanang remarked.
