The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), in coordination with the City Government of Kabankalan, conducted a seminar on Republic Act No. 11976, also known as the “Ease of Paying Taxes Act,” on May 27, 2024, at the Kabankalan City Function Hall.

The seminar was attended by 160 participants from Cauayan, Candoni, Ilog, and Kabankalan, consist taxpayers, bookkeepers, business owners, and different association with their representatives.

Mayor Benjie Miranda graced the event, expressing gratitude to the resource speakers from the BIR and to the taxpayers who attended.

“The seminar is conducted by GS Enrique T. Alisaje, RO Febe Ruth R. Diocares, RO Joemar T. Delos Santos, and RO Jayson B. Yanson of the Bureau of Internal Revenue.”

The event aimed to educate taxpayers on tax payment procedures and highlight the importance of fulfilling tax obligations.
