Good news for those having transactions at the Kabankalan City Hall.

An elevator has been recently installed in the City Hall to provide easy access for the public from the ground floor to the second floor.

This P3.8 million equipment is funded from the Gender and Development (GAD) program of the city government.

It will help pregnant women, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities in navigating different offices within the building.

On Monday, the elevator underwent a successful test run with Mayor Benjie Miranda.

Atty. Mac Lord Zafra, city administrator, said an official inauguration ceremony is scheduled soon.

This new addition to the City Government of Kabankalan will undoubtedly improve accessibility and convenience to the public.
