The different programs and personnel of the Kabankalan City was recently recognized by the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
The Kabankalan City Health Office has been recognized as the Best Performing Local Government Unit for its outstanding performance in disaster risk reduction and management in health programs (DRRM-H) and Best Practice In STI, HIV-Aids Prevention and Control Program for 2023.
The Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) of Kabankalan City was also recognized as the Outstanding ABTC in the Negros Occidental.
Rosario Santillan has been named as the Best Program Coordinator on Adolescent Health Development Program for the year 2023 while Sandra Arellano was recognized as the Best Health Education Promotion and Officer.
Rose Marie H. Completo was chosen as Best Performing Sanitation Inspector for The Year 2023, and recognized her Outstanding Performance and Unwavering Commitment to Zero Open Defecation.
Four Barangays declared as Zero Open Defecation Barangay for The Year 2023: Barangay Six, Barangay Camugao, Barangay Talubangi and Barangay Daan Banua.
The recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the city’s workforce.
