The City Government of Kabankalan, led by Mayor Benjie Miranda, prepares to launch a new Tourist Rest Area (TRA) located at Sitio Overflow, Barangay Hilamonan.

City Administrator Atty. Mac Lord O. Zafra and City Budget Officer Mr. Joemil G. Porol, CPA, are spearheading the local preparations for this landmark initiative.

Through the City Tourism, Culture, and the Arts Office, a coordination meeting and site inspection were conducted on July 10, 2025, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, represented by Senior Tourism Operations Officers Kristoffer Leo M. Velete and Arianne Faye H. Balbidades, as well as Tourism Operations Assistant Johnmark Ciocon, to ensure the site is ready for the upcoming inauguration.
