Kabankalan City, through its Public Employment Service Office (PESO), was hailed as the 2024 Search for Best PESO (SBP) Regional Grand Winner – Component City Category, with Mayor Benjie Miranda personally receiving the award together with PESO Manager Dr. Elma B. Bachita, Jean T. Bajos, and Eleanor M. Camingay.

The recognition was given during the 2025 PESO Western Visayas Congress held on August 18, 2025, at Binirayan Gym, San Jose, Antique.

PESO Kabankalan, under the leadership of Dr. Bachita, has consistently demonstrated excellence in implementing programs and services. It provides employment opportunities, skills development, and livelihood programs, which earned the city this prestigious regional recognition.
